Advanced
Web Authoring & Advanced Action Scripting
Web Authoring, Advanced Web Authoring and Advanced Action Scripting are elective courses offered to Sophomores through Seniors. All three courses are sequential and each course builds upon learning's from the previous course.
The course curriculum of Web Authoring covers the basics of web design through the use of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Dreamweaver CS5, Photoshop CS5 and Fireworks CS5. This course must be taken first.
The second course in the series is Advanced Web Authoring. The course curriculum of Advanced Web Authoring gets into the heavier intricacies of CSS, creative web layout and design, working with the client and determining the clients needs and of course more Dreamweaver CS5 and Flash CS5.
The last course in the series is Advanced Action Scripting. Both Web Authoring course must be taken first and successfully completed to take this course. The course curriculum for Advanced Action Scripting is Honors based and will expose students solely to designing interactive Flash web sites.
